The majority of the study subjects were mostly male (67%), the mean age was 67 years old, the oldest subject was 79, and the youngest was 50. Most participants were white (67%) and had more than one TMS treatment (67%). All participants had some college and most (83%) had advanced degrees. Most participants were retired (67%). All participants had issues with sleep. Seventeen percent of participants reported issues with mood not specific to binge eating, anxiety, cognition, and depression. In addition, the length of the study was short (4-months) and the data did not reflect additional TMS treatments. The data was self-disclosed to the researcher after being asked or prompted.
